Is the Citi Strata Elite worth $595?

Up to $300 off a hotel stay of 2 nights or more, once per calendar year. NOT a statement credit: it is applied to the reservation at the time of booking. Portal-only - bookings must be made with Citi Travel via cititravel.com or 1-833-737-1288; any other channel is ineligible. The complete stay must be pre-paid with the card, points, or both. No points are earned on the portion of the purchase offset by the benefit. A reservation booked in one calendar year and cancelled in the next forfeits the prior year benefit with no re-issue.
